Bill Ebben, President/CEO -
Bill Ebben is a skilled advertising and marketing professional with more than 18 years of experience working in the communications industry. ECG specializes in servicing corporations that are seeking a fresh approach in their advertising, media placement, advertising, and public relations strategies. In addition, Bill is an adjunct faculty member at Boston College teaching advertising in the department of Communications.
Prior to Ebben Communications, Bill served as station manager of the first FM Talk radio station in Boston, 96.9 FM Talk, WTKK, after five years as the general sales manager at Sports Radio 850 AM, WEEI. At which time, Bill specialized in managing and designing advertising and marketing campaigns for many corporations utilizing the Greater Media group of radio stations, as well as, the Red Sox, Celtics, and Boston College radio networks. Bill has also been the general sales manager for WRKO/The Red Sox Radio Network for two years, and an Account Executive for AM 680 WRKO.
Bill graduated from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass., in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Bill also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass., in 1997.
Karen Pevenstein, Public Relations Manager - Karen Pevenstein joins Ebben Communications Group as Public Relations Manager. Karen handles such accounts as Panera Bread, International Cars, and The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism working with her local media contacts to secure articles and generate coverage. She also works with ECG’s advertising clients consulting in creative services, script writing, and video production.
Prior to joining ECG, Karen worked as a promotions producer at CBS 4 in Boston. Her duties included writing, producing, and editing daily topical and special report spots for the 11 o’clock news. Her television career began in Monterey, CA where she served as a producer at KSBW, the local NBC affiliate. She has also spent extensive time working and studying in Paris, France.
A native of Maryland, Karen is a cum laude graduate of Villanova University with a Communication major and French minor. She is active in the Boston community mentoring and serving as a PR Consultant for the Junior League of Boston.
Marianna Mahoney, Account Manager - Marianna Mahoney works with Ebben Communications Group as an Account Manager. She is a graduate of Boston University’s Masters program with a degree in Advertising. Marianna has extensive background in client services and specializes instrategic, targeted client support to provide the best business and advertising solutions.
At ECG, Marianna provides in-depth research, analysis, and insight into her client’s customers. She assesses the competitive landscape through analysis and identifies untapped market potential and growth opportunity. During her graduate studies, Marianna worked at firms in Boston and London where she gained experiencewith account planning thus she brings a strong awareness of how consumer knowledge can be used as an effective advertising tool.
Marianna completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University of Ohio (BA Communication, 2003) before pursuing her Master’s degree at Boston University (MA Advertising, 2004). |
